Can love really conquer all? Even when the secrets are so big, someone could die for keeping them, has died to keep them?
Celeste Brooks is haunted by a past she cannot escape. Plagued by nightmares and fear that her secret will be discovered, she buries herself in her MBA and work, opening up to no one except her roommate, Gavin. Until her path crosses with his.
Ian Jacobs made a vow when his heart was broken that he would never allow anyone that close again. Being a sexy business mogul has its perks, and having many attractive women throw themselves at you is just one. Until his path crosses with hers.
As soon as Ian finds Celeste has applied for a position with Jacobs Enterprises, he takes matters into his own hands, knowing that he must possess this woman at any cost. Celeste finds herself under Ian’s spell and knows that she will do anything to be close to this man. Including revealing her secrets? As their paths, past and present, collide, they must decide to risk it all or leave each other behind.
Stepping out onto the sidewalk, he wraps me in his arms and lifts me off the ground. “I was beginning to worry that you were having second thoughts.” He nibbles on my earlobe as he whispers in my ear.
“Never” is my only reply as he opens the door and helps me into the car. I give him the address and he relays it to the driver before closing the panel between the front seat and us.
“Are you sure we haven’t met before?” He tips my chin up to look into my eyes.
“No, I don’t think so. But everything about you does seem familiar like déjà vu or something.” I run my hands up his thigh to cup his growing erection.
“Well, sweetheart,” he says leaving a trail of kisses down my neck, “when I see something I want, I tend to take it.” His lips set fire to my skin. “But perhaps introductions are in order before we arrive at your apartment?”
“If you don’t mind, I’d rather just keep it anonymous. I’ve been so wrapped up in life for the last few years that I need a night to let go.” To forget, I think to myself. “Please. For tonight?”
“For tonight? Sure, but I can pretty much guarantee I’m going to want to see you again so after tonight, we’ll have to talk. There’s no way I’ll be able to get the taste of your sweet skin out of my head.”
As much as I wish that this could be more than one night, there’s no way it’ll be any more than this. I would’ve thought it would make me feel cheap to give myself to a man I hardly knew because despite the past, I barely know him. Being with him though, I’m overcome with a sense of peace. A sense that, at least for tonight, I’ll be in arms that will protect me from all the evil, which constantly threatens to catch up with me. As we near the building, I find myself longing for that protection and security more and more.
This is dangerous ground to tread on. Bringing my past way too close to my present but I have to have him. I just need to keep reminding my head and my heart that after tonight we’ll just be nameless strangers to one another. And I have to be okay with that if I’m going to go through with this. There’s no doubt in my mind that one night with him will break my heart but the memory of tonight will sustain me for a long time to come, probably the rest of my life. So I settle into his lap to enjoy the rest of our brief ride to my apartment.
Entering the elevator, the sexual tension is thick between us. He pulls me close as his hands find the pins holding my hair. He releases them allowing my hair to flow over my shoulders and down my back. His fingers run through the loose curls causing my scalp to tingle. The tingle shoots all the way from my scalp down my body to settle between my legs, where it became a constant throb.
The ding of the elevator, signaling our arrival to our destination, is the only thing that keeps me from ripping his clothes off right then and there. I can’t believe how brazen I am this evening. This isn’t me at all but then again isn’t that why I came to New York in the first place? To get as far away from the old me as possible? I unlock the door and usher him through into the living room. “Can I take your jacket?” I ask as he drapes it over the back of the sofa.
“Is this alright?” He asks indicating his jacket. I can only nod as the electricity builds between us.
Wetting my lips again, I ask, “Would you like a drink? I believe we have some cognac here.” Letting him know that I noticed his drink of choice earlier. “Or we have some champagne.” His gaze drifts to the counter separating the living room from the kitchen and rests on the champagne in the ice bucket and two glasses. “Oh sorry, my roommate and I had a couple glasses before we left for the club. Tonight was sort of a celebration for me.” I shrug as if to say it was no big deal. “But there’s still plenty left and I have another bottle in the wine fridge if you’d like some.”
“Champagne would be wonderful. So what were you celebrating? I feel a little guilty pulling you away from your friends knowing that you were out celebrating.” In a few long strides, he stands in front of me. “But I won’t say I regret it.” His lips once again find mine; the champagne and questions are all but forgotten. My hands tangle in his hair and his grip on my waist tightens like it’s his only lifeline. Not wanting to break our kiss, I gently guide us down the hallway to my bedroom. He moves us through the door and in a swift move kicks the door shut with his foot. Once the door closed the need engulfing, my body grows exponentially. I reach for the buttons on his shirt wanting to remove all barriers between us. My clumsiness and inexperience are definitely noticeable but he doesn’t say anything, just helps guide my fingers from one button to the next until the shirt lies in a pool at our feet.
I reach up the side of my dress and find the zip. Pulling it down with the dress, it soon joins his shirt on the floor and I stand before him in a lacy bra, thong and my heels. His breathe catches in his throat and I can tell he definitely enjoys the view. “My god, you are so beautiful.” He pulls me to him and takes my mouth once more then begins his exploration down my body. Trailing kisses from my neck down to the tops of my breasts and then over my stomach until he is kneeling before me. He looks up at me silently asking permission. I fist my hands in his hair and throw my head back in answer. If I thought his intention was just to remove the thong, I was very wrong. With a slight tug, there’s a ripping sound as the small piece of fabric falls away from my body. He holds it in his fist for a moment just staring at my naked pussy before he lowers his lip to my clit and sucks hard. The sensation almost causes me to fall over. Sensing my weak knees, he pushes me back against the bed until I’m sitting as he continues working me over with his tongue. “Ah god, that feels incredible.”
“Angel, you taste incredible. You are incredible. I was right before when I said I wouldn’t be able to get enough of you in one night.” His fingers slip between my folds and he presses one into me. I gasp at the feeling. “Shit! You are so fucking tight. This is heaven.”

She felt her joints loosen and she relaxed against him. “So you’re okay with us being together, just for this summer?”
He tucked a curl behind her ear and the feel of his touch made her shiver. It was so quiet, she could hear every breath he took, felt it vibrate through him in the cramped bottom of the boat.
“Let’s enjoy every moment together until it’s our last.”
“But that moment isn’t today,” she said, so grateful that he’d agreed. She wanted to be with him until she couldn’t. It was that simple.
His hand smoothed the length of her hair as he gazed into her eyes, his expression tender and full of longing. “No. It’s not.” The words sounded so reverent they could have been a prayer.
His fingers trailed down her cheek to her lips, outlining the shape of her mouth. He bent down, his lips against her cheek, brushing it lightly. Shivers ran through her whole body, making her tremble. He brushed his mouth against the hollow of her temple then traced the line of her jawbone.
The aching anticipation for his kiss was suddenly too much and she reached up and pulled his mouth to hers. He kissed her gently, carefully, but it wasn’t gentleness she wanted, not when time was fleeting. She knotted her fists in his shirt, and pulled him closer. He groaned softly, low in his throat, and then his arms circled her, gathering her against him as the boat rocked beneath them. The small possibility of falling into the water vanished as soon as it occurred to her.
All that existed was Daniel. She could feel his warmth burning through his clothes and hers. She ran her fingers along his arm—soft skin over lean muscle, a scar like a thin wire on his biceps. It was an imperfection that made him seem even more perfect. He fumbled as he pushed her heavy hair aside to kiss her ear. She didn’t think she’d ever seen his hands unsteady before.
She trailed her nose across his jaw, inhaling the clean smell of summer countryside, of him. He released a pent-up breath, the sound like music. Her pulse tapped a fast beat and her breath quickened with it. She stroked his cheek and kissed every inch of his neck until he moaned again. Or maybe she’d made the sound; they seemed to share each breath, each heartbeat. It felt as if the universe disappeared and all that remained was the two of them, holding each other close.
“I forgot it was like this,” she said when Daniel pulled back and looked down at her. It seemed as if the stars hurtled down around her head like a rain of silver tinsel.
“It wasn’t.” He kissed her nose, then traced the line of her cheek with his fingertip, a dreamlike intensity in his gaze. “This is better.”
And she never wanted it to end. She felt feverishly alive, every nerve ending jangling as they watched the sky, enjoying the private moment.
“I agree,” she sighed, nestling against his side. “I wish we could stay like this forever.” When he toyed with her earlobe, she tried, unsuccessfully, to settle her heart back in her body. She watched the stars shimmer above and it also felt as though they were celebrating.
“Me, too,” he said softly in her ear. He captured her lips in a kiss so fierce and full of longing that it felt like a love song.

Love Me is the second book in the Trust Series.
Love Me (Book #2 Trust Series)
Engaged and happily in love, Allison Scott and Damien Wales are looking forward to joining their lives together as one. Coming from a mournful year after losing her parents, Allison is ready to heal and move on to the next chapter with the love of her life.
But Damien’s past continues to threaten their future. A man once obsessed with Damien’s sister is now after his one and only love, Allison. The woman who came before Allison is determined to captivate Damien’s heart. And Damien’s best friend is somehow playing a part in it all.
One is a murderer, and Damien and Allison discover they can trust no one but each other. When Damien’s history endangers Allison’s life, their relationship is pushed to its limits, and they must determine if their love can overcome any obstacle or if circumstances will force them apart.
“Tybee Island. That’s what I was handling with Bane. I rented us a house on the beach after we left the doctor’s office. You’ll be safe, Alli, I promise. Security is already in place.”
The last statement and somber tone in his voice has me instantly pulling back from the window.
“Damien, you are the only person I feel completely safe with while this maniac is out there. I don’t worry about not being safe when I’m with you.”
He sends a quick text, and then he grabs the nape of my neck and pulls me to him. Whatever was missing is back in full force and then some as my body warms, and he begins to penetrate all my senses. The familiar haze comes over me, and the world completely begins to slide away.
I’m not even waiting for foreplay as I wrench my shirt and bra off my body. Damien’s warm mouth immediately encapsulates my breast, and I arch at the pleasure that begins to radiate down to my core, igniting a burn down there.
I need my husband shirtless now. I go to the bottom of his thermal shirt and start to pull it up. He immediately disengages from my body as he takes over, and he has it over his head and discarded in about a quarter of the time it would have taken me. In one movement, he’s picked me up and laid me out on the limo floor.
He goes for my pants and pulls them from my body. “Fuck, Alli, you are beautiful.”
I try to do a seductive smile, but then his finger slides down my cleft and dips into my core. I arch off the limo floor. He undoes his pants enough to free himself, and he is on top of me immediately.
“I can’t wait. I need inside you now.”
I open my legs up in invitation and whimper at the friction as he enters me.
“Oh, Damien, please, yes. It’s been too long.”

A chance encounter. An undeniable connection. An unimaginable twist of fate.
Kailey’s life is crumbling. Her best friend and sister, Jen, is dying, leaving her young family devastated. With little hope of saving her, Kailey is forced to face a reality she never expected.
Trey’s life is fun and carefree. He loves the girls, his drums, and his friends. That’s not to say he isn’t continuously plagued by a difficult decision made years ago—one that changed the course of his life.
Despite the connection they make when their paths unexpectedly cross, Kailey knows her life has no room for anyone else right now. But regardless of how many times she pushes him away, Trey only fights harder to make a place for him in her life and in her heart.
Trey thought he knew heartbreak, but he had no idea until life gave him a second chance, only to snatch it away just as fast. This time he’s determined to keep his place in the life of the ones he loves.
Is there such a thing as fate? If so, can Kailey and Trey hold on to one another long enough to discover there’s no such thing as a chance encounter?
Before I know what’s happening he’s shuttling me out the room, instructing Caden’s parents to take over. He opens a door into a private room, shutting and locking it behind us. Walking me over to a couch. Never letting go of his hold on me, he sits down on the older couch, cradling me in his lap. His strong arms are wrapped tightly around me. He holds me close as I continue to crumble, soaking his nice blue button down with my tears. He’s patient and kind, allowing me to release the wave of grief that I’ve been straining to hide.
My body calms, my shutters stop, and my sobs turn to trickling tears. My finger traces his tattoos while my head lays against his chest. I should’ve predicted he’d have this effect, he’s always had a comforting presence to me. He doesn’t mention anything about our fight or me not answering his phone calls. All of our problems are pushed aside, so we can deal with the fog of death that surrounds us now.
I hurriedly stand, straightening my dress after I release myself from the comfort of Trey’s love. Following me to the door, his steps echo through the small space. He grabs my wrist to hold me in place. I sigh. “Trey, I need to get back out there,” I tell him, but he pulls me closer.
“They can wait five minutes, Kailey. Please, let me be there with you,” he begs, already knowing my heart is lost in some dark tunnel without a flicker of light. It’s wounded and broken, so my brain has taken over, translating to me pushing everyone out.
“Trey, thank you for coming, but you can leave now,” I say coldly with no emotion. He can’t be tied down with me, he needs to go and live a life I can no longer be a part of.
“No, Kailey, I’m not leaving.” He stands firm, planting his feet. Uncontrollable anger starts brewing in my veins. I’m mad he won’t listen to me and just disappear. Can’t he see it’s the best for him to forget us?
My hand rests on the lock; ready to twist it open when he steps forward. He turns me around to face him and cages me between his arms against the door. “Trey,” I argue, but he presses his lips to mine and an immediate raging desire seeps into my every pore. As much as my body screams to him, anger still lingers that he’s forcing me to be callous and cruel.
He places his hands on either side of my face, continuing to kiss me as though he’s starving for only my mouth. Instinctively, the irrational, live life in the moment Kailey that he easily pries out of me appears. Something only my sister and her family could accomplish until he came into my life. “Please,” he whispers, and my body starts to sway in his strong hold, as he travels his lips over to my earlobe and down my throat.
“Stop it, Trey, leave me alone,” I cruelly spout, placing my hands on his chest, trying to push him back, but he only grips tighter.
“You know you don’t want me to.” He trusts his keen instincts because they’re usually always right when it comes to me.
Trying to close myself off, I press my lips together when his graze across mine again before his tongue requests permission. But in the end, I’m not willing to deny myself, I open, allowing his familiar tongue to roam around my mouth and mingle with mine. The kiss feels safe and warm, like home. Ever since that fateful plane ride, I’ve felt as if Trey was a part of me. Recalling our first kiss; it was nothing like this. God! He ignited my whole body the first time his mouth pressed against mine. In those three minutes, he ruined me. No man would ever compare. But this, this is what I crave at night when I lay in bed all alone. It’s the familiarity of the one man who knows my lips, my tongue, and my body. My need of one man who continues to enjoy exploring every curve and nuance over and over again, as if he has discovered his own wonderland. When my thoughts unscramble, my lips and tongue are moving carelessly without retention of the real issue.
“Stop it, Trey.” This time, I use all my force to push him back. I’m torn if I’m happy, mad, or just sad. Sheer dejection fills his eyes, and suddenly remorse hits me. “We just can’t,” I softly say, shaking my head back and forth.
“Yes, we can,” he says, stepping forward, but I shake my head violently again. “What the hell, Kailey? All I want to do is love you,” his voice starts escalating, and I need to flee the room. His presence alone makes me jittery and uncontrolled. The sooner I leave, the sooner I can get myself stable again, back into my sealed bubble.
“I told you already, Trey.” I bite my lip, not wanting to lie again, but I will, if I have to.
“Don’t tell me that bullshit again. You and I both know it isn’t true.” He steps closer to me, and my weakness begins getting the best of me.
“Please, I need to get back out there,” I tell him, but he approaches again, pulling me to him similar to a child with their security blanket. I succumb to the haven of his embrace, mindlessly relishing the warmness of home.
“Kailey, it’s taking everything in me not to keep you right here, up against this door, until you admit you love me. I’ll let you leave this room, but don’t say you don’t love me again. I know you do, and no matter how hard you try to push me aside, I’m not leaving.” He releases me after his rant, and I unlock the door, fleeing the room.

Heâs swimming toward me, closing in, and I retreat until my shoulder blades hit the lip of the pool.
âYour fate is in my hands,â he says.
âI accept that,â I say. His surprised expression is so rare that I almost lose my train of thought. âWhat I canât accept is not knowing my fate. If youâll just tell me if Iâll live or die, tell me what Iâm doing here, what my purpose is, and if itâs . . . forever, I promiseâI will be better.â
âYou ask for a lot.â He steps within inches of me so our faces almost touch.
âTell me that, and I wonât ask for anything else.â
He raises his hand to run his thumb over my cheekbone. The room is silent save for the acute splash echo of pool water. His fingers slide down my face and under my hair, where they wrap around the nape my neck. âYou look sexy when youâre wet, Cataline.â
My eyelids threaten to close, but I force myself to hold his gaze.
He lowers his mouth to my ear. âYouâd make a beautiful mermaid,â he whispers. âBut, then, how would I fuck you?â

When twenty-six year old Kathleen Cooper realizes that she forfeited her dreams and aspirations of becoming a lawyer after a brash decision to run off and marry the insanely charming Aidan Cooper, she decides to regain what she lost over the course of their seven-year relationship and start fresh.
With a renewed sense of hope and determination, she moves to a different city, lands a new job, and meets the handsome Benjamin Chase in a serendipitous way.
But even with all of these changes and hopes of gaining a new life, Kathleen is still not happy with the person she sees in the mirror staring back at her. She is an insomniac. She generally has bad luck in just about everything she attempts. She’s clumsy, and even if Prince Charming fell into her lap, she would likely push him in the opposite direction, for fear of getting hurt or worse, hurting someone else. This time she can’t blame any of these things on her bad luck or her destructive marriage. This time, it’s not her heart that’s in danger. This time, she has much more to lose and everything to gain.
Will she realize her mistakes in time to repair the damage?
Will she be able to reverse her shattered self-image and discover true happiness?
Will she ever find her way back to the person she was before seven years of bad luck?
Chill bumps spread like a fierce wildfire across the surface of my skin. I couldn’t tell if Ben noticed or not. I hoped that he didn’t. He leaned slightly to his left and deposited his coffee cup onto an end table. Then it was his turn to break our intense silence, and boy, he didn’t just break the silence, he shattered it into a million pieces along with my stupid ploy and formerly bolstered, but newly absent, courage. Apparently, once Ben spoke, my smart-mouthed inner Kat disappeared in a hurry. His voice came out low and rough; each syllable that rolled off his tongue seemed to stroke me internally, causing my stomach to flip and flutter wildly.
“Kathleen, am I the one to thank for these chill bumps, all over your skin or did something else do this for you?” As he spoke to me, he lifted his right hand and lightly brushed the backs of his long fingers down my right upper arm then swirled a light circle around my elbow and continued down the sensitive inner skin of my forearm, skating across my flesh with barely-there strokes from his nimble fingers.
I kept my eyes cast away from his. I seemed incapable of looking directly into his eyes. I felt as if looking straight into those glowing depths of vivid blue would cause me to be swallowed up whole and pulled beneath the surface to blissfully drown in him. The fierce sexual energy that permeated the air around Ben made it difficult to breathe, and it intimidated me. I chose not to answer him. Or perhaps I couldn’t answer him.
“Kathleen, look at me.” His commanding tone and presence was hard to challenge even from a distance and far more grueling a task within such close quarters. I could smell him, I could feel the warmth from his body radiating outward, and I could clearly hear each breath he drew from the space between us and pulled down to fill his lungs. I felt a powerful crimson, heated blush roll through my veins. It coursed throughout my body leaving evidence of my arousal in its wake. My skin heated, and my neck and cheeks flushed into a hot red. I realized that I was helplessly adrift in a sea of desire and arousal and that battling the current would be useless. I could either embrace the journey along the formidable pull of the current, or I could fight in vain against Mother Nature, knowing that undoubtedly I would lose.
“Look at me. Answer my question.” I lifted my eyes from the floor, but still avoided his stare.
He extended his long index finger and placed the pad of it beneath my chin and encouraged my head to tilt back, forcing my eyes to meet his. The moment we locked eyes, my breathing halted , and I felt my stomach flip and flutter all over again with a heightened need that exceeded any feeling I had experienced before it, ever. I battled against myself for composure so that I could finally answer him. I had not the faintest idea of what I would say, but I knew I needed to say something. My eyes darted around a bit, and he released my jaw, giving me an opportunity to speak.
Tit for tat, I thought.
“You never answered my own question, Mr. Chase.” I made a point to emphasize his name in hopes that sounding more like his employee would bring a halt to his request for an answer. I was hoping we could end this torturous little tango that had me tied up in knots.
No, Kat. You wish Ben had you tied up. He hasn’t done it yet.
And with that sarcastic little jab to my sex life (or lack thereof), the inner Kat sauntered back into my head as if she had merely stepped away for a moment, but didn’t go too far.

How far would you go to get something you really wanted?
Emily Malone has had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Paul, all her life.
Unfortunately, he just sees her as his friend's little sister.
Desperate and infatuated, Emily resorts to lies and deception.
She only needs one night with Paul, to finally get over this obsessive crush. But Fate has other ideas. . .
Three time Amazon Bestselling author Nikki Sex writes sexy contemporary romance, often involving a bit of kink. She's also a sucker for Happily Ever After endings, so no matter how dark her stories get, fear not! It always all works out in the end.
Am I really going to do this? Emily Malone had gone over her plan a thousand times, maybe more. Should I? Shouldn’t I? The answer was always the same because there really wasn’t a choice at this point. She’d done too much, and come too far not to go through with it. I have to. It’s the only way. She looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize herself. Emily’s normally long, dark brown, wavy hair was recently cut short, straightened and bleached white-blonde. She’d styled it in a wild, uninhibited sort of “just tumbled” look. Not long ago, she wore glasses in an “a la geek” style. Now, colored contact lenses turned her light-blue eyes dark brown. With the addition of silk eyelash extensions, her eyes looked striking. The stranger staring back at her in the mirror struck a pose, further exposing her generous cleavage in that tight red halter. Emily practiced an alluring smile – creating a slutty, eager, “come hither” seductive look. Yes. Perfect! That seemed to be exactly the kind of girl Paul Jarman went for, she mused. He never went out with “nice” girls. He liked experienced, big breasted, naughty girls who put out. He was looking to get laid – not looking for love. There was something about him, too. Every girl seemed to instantly fall in love with Paul, probably because he didn’t commit to anyone. Ever. Well, he won’t want to commit to me either, but who cares? I just want to have sex with him. “The only way to banish temptation is to give into it," the saying went. She sure hoped it was true. Emily intended to finally scratch that long term, never ending itch of hers. There was a fine line between “hopeful persistence” and “stalking.” Clearly she’d gone well over that line. Hell, she’d literally and metaphorically driven past state borders and even left the country when it came to “crossing the line.” Emily frowned, frustrated by the mystery. How do normal people get over their first love? What she felt for Paul was a bone-deep ache that never went away. Being obsessed with someone was like being caught in Chinese handcuffs, or finger traps. The more she struggled and fought the infatuation, the tighter the cuffs held on. She told herself that if she just had one night of mind blowing, intense, no-holds-barred, toe curling sex with the object of her fixation, then maybe, just maybe she’d finally get over him. Maybe then, she could move on with her life. At least, that was the plan. ~~~ Please God, don’t let him recognize me. Emily stood before Paul, facing him. “Hey, hot guy,” she said in a low, sultry purr. “Where can a girl sit if she wants to join you?” She placed her hands on her waist and crooked a leg in a provocative catwalk model pose. Paul gazed up at her, with interest and amusement sparkling in his light hazel eyes. Those eyes of his had always entranced her. Just now, they looked chocolate brown, but in sunlight or a well-lit setting, Paul’s irises were a beautiful bright green near the pupil. His eyebrows rose into an arch as she looked down at him. The corners of his mouth lifted as a slow smile curled his lips. Emily’s breath hitched when a nearly tangible frisson of attraction passed between them. Before she knew his intent, Paul gave a delighted, low-pitched laugh and swept her onto to his lap. One of his arms lay across her thighs, the other around her back, holding tight to one of her hips. “Oh!” For an empty space of time, Emily stopped breathing. Her mind went blank as every brain cell she had seemed to disappear. Evidently, said brain cells had been replaced by rampant female hormones, all exuberantly singing, “Take me! Take me! Take me!” For a moment, Emily totally forgot the part she was supposed to be playing, as electric jolts of joy and pleasure rolled through her, making her skin tingle. All the years of desire she’d bottled up inside, popped open and exploded, spraying like shaken, uncorked champagne. Was it the alcohol that made her whole body flush and her head swim? Or was it just Paul? She felt drunk, intoxicated by the scent, sight, sound and feel of him. I’m in Paul’s arms! I’m in Paul’s arms! It was a heady experience. He smelled so good. Hot, muscular and male. An all-consuming need for him spiked through her in an instant of sharp arousal. It was as if a bolt of lightning struck her, right between her legs, smack into her womb. Her body heated and pulsed; her breasts ached and her nipples hardened, their taut peaks brushing against her lacy bra. Until that moment she’d been unaware of any friction between the lace and her sensitive nipples. Emily adored Paul when she was a child. He’d always been kind to her, he listened to her, and made her laugh. Then when she became older, and her body became flooded with hormones, she really noticed him. He was tall, and strong and handsome. And he had that sexy smile that somehow made her melt inside. Paul had been the object of her every sexual fantasy – from the first time she ever had a sexual fantasy, for as long as she could remember. Oh man, I want him so bad. “Hey, beautiful,” Paul said, his eyes flaring with unconcealed lust. “What’s your name?” Emily stared at him, frozen into stillness by his intense gaze. The velvet timbre of his voice was deep and so incredibly mellow. It was the same voice that she loved to listen to all of her life – except that now it had a sexy, seductive tone to it. Dazed and aroused, Emily’s lips parted. For a moment she honestly couldn’t recall how to speak. Remembering how to breathe seemed to be problematic, too. There was a long pause while she tried to right her universe that had tilted so dramatically. “Candy,” she replied with a gasp, abruptly remembering the fake name she’d adopted specifically for this occasion. “Of course it is,” Paul murmured with a quick, easy laugh. His eyes sparkled with dry irony. Thank, God! He doesn’t recognize me, Emily thought with relief. But I hardly recognize him, either – not from the way he’s acting toward me. Paul Jarman, the unrequited love of her life was hitting on her! Emily realized that this was “Charismatic, seductive, Paul,” as opposed to “Protective, indulgent, treat-me-like-a-younger-sister, Paul,” that she had grown used to over the years. Charismatic, seductive, Paul was a man that she’d never met before, but holy hell! She sure planned to get to know this Paul better. Intimately, in fact. Emily’s older brother, Reese, was Paul’s best friend. When they were kids, Paul lived on the same street as Emily and her family. Paul had been Emily’s first teenage crush, but she’d never gotten over him. After all those years, throughout everything, Emily’s infatuation for her brother’s best friend had never once wavered. She’d had boyfriends over the years, and wasn’t an innocent, but Paul remained her only love. Now, even after three years without seeing him, the familiar pull of her attraction toward him was still there, stronger than ever. And now I’m in his arms. It was better than any of her countless fantasies. Paul’s eyes narrowed as he studied her, slowly starting at her toenails (which were red from a recent pedicure). His hungry gaze appreciatively slid up her legs, then drank in her torso. Emily’s breath caught, and her nipples tightened when his vision lingered caressingly on her breasts. Finally his eyes stopped and focused on her lips. Was he going to kiss her? Please! Please! Please! Paul’s intense scrutiny made her shiver with a strange combination of apprehension and lust. Signs of Emily’s arousal were obvious to anyone who cared to look. Her skin was flushed, her breathing shallow and rapid, lips parted, eyes wide. She was drunk with arousal. Emily figured that Paul could spot a horny girl a mile away. It was a talent that had served him well, if the rumors about him were true. Just now, he couldn’t miss the throbbing puddle of aching desire sitting on his lap. For what seemed like forever, Emily had concealed her powerful yearning for Paul. How could she hide it now, when the warmth of his body overwhelmed her senses, seeping into her bones, her mind, and soul? But tonight she was Candy, and there was no reason to hide. She wanted him… and she wanted him to know it. Paul stroked her hypersensitive skin with rough fingers, tracing along the contours of her calf, running up past her knee, and boldly moving under her skirt to mid-thigh. Emily’s eyes widened as she became aware of Paul’s interest, in the form of the rigid length of his erection pressed against her hip. His hand moved confidently, calloused and warm. It gripped her thigh with firm possession. Like that thigh belonged to him. Like he owned her. And at that moment, he did. Wow! Buzzed, pliant and entranced by his attention, Emily wanted to melt right into him. “I’m Paul, and this is Jai,” he crooned, nuzzling her neck. “You smell good.” “A pleasure to meet you,” Jai said with a nod. She stared at Paul, devouring him with her eyes. Trying to calm her rapid heartbeat, Emily forced her gaze to Paul’s friend. The man’s ancestry clearly originated from India, but he had a British accent. Maybe he’d been born in the UK? Observing the position of Paul’s hand up her skirt, Jai’s mouth twitched, curving into a knowing grin. His teeth were very white against his dark skin. “Can we buy you a drink, Candy?” “Yes, thank-you,” she murmured. The plan was to limit her replies to breathy, whispered comments, to prevent Paul from recognizing her voice. “A margarita, please.” Paul easily caught the attention of a waitress despite how packed the place was. The woman hurried to his table to take his order, fawning all over him, like a peasant to a king. This was no surprise to Emily. Quarterback and track star with perfect grades, he’d been voted as ‘Most likely to Succeed’ in High School. Paul had always been in command of himself and everyone around him. Where did all that self-assurance come from? Good looks? High IQ? Physical health and fitness? Take your pick. Emily just wished that she had half of his natural, easy confidence. It certainly added to his allure, making him even more attractive. It was as if Paul had a gravity of his own. People seemed to revolve around him like planets, caught up in his powerful magnetic pull. “Hungry?” Paul asked, gesturing to the generous spread of Mexican fare on the table. He spoke with a quiet intensity that made her focus all her attention on him. Emily boldly met his gaze. “Not for food,” she replied in a low voice. She was proud of herself with that answer. Regaining her slutty experienced persona and confirming her interest was important. It was true, anyway. Right now, Emily couldn’t eat a thing – unless it was Paul. He was a feast for her senses. Overwhelmed, she looked away. It was all she could do to sit still. Emily wanted to writhe with nerves. Raw lust roared through her in a steady urgent wave. Her skin, her nerve endings, her entire body was hypersensitive. She longed to kiss him, to lick his hard male abs, and run her hands all over his body. She felt empty, needy and desperate. “Look at me, Candy,” Paul’s voice became forceful and uncompromising. “Eyes on me.” Dazedly, she lifted her head and met his gaze. Candy swallowed, hard. His eyes flared and darkened. Her chest went tight in response. This was Paul, the man she had adored for as long as she could remember. The man she loved, and always would. There was nothing that she wouldn’t do for him… or to him, for that matter! Whatever he wanted. I’m a slave to love, she thought. More like a slave to Paul Jarman. But just then she didn’t care. Emily’s breath hitched when Paul took her hand, and brought it to his lips. Gently he bit the meaty flesh, just under her thumb. Emily was unable to hold back a moan. His sensual lips twitched into an eloquent smile at her response. Paul knew exactly what he was doing. Stroking, caressing, he kissed where he’d caused that sharp bite of sensation. Then he began to play with her fingers, tracing the length of them with his hand and mouth. Sensual and seductive, he teased and toyed with her hand. Just like he was teasing and toying with her. The stubble on his face brushed against her skin and she jerked as a blast of sensation coursed through her like an electric current. God dammit, his every touch was so erotic! A strange roaring began in her ears. She heard a whimper when he pressed his lips to her inner wrist in a soft kiss; it sounded like it came from someone else. Unexpectedly, he licked and then nipped her there. It hurt – but it didn’t. It was so much more than pain. Lightning struck once more, only this time incandescent heat speared in a direct line from her wrist to her feminine core. Holy shit! Liquid warmth pooled low in her belly. Her slick channel clenched and a rush of moisture trickled between her thighs. Emily didn’t think that she had ever been so aroused, and he had barely touched her. Already she was prepared to spread her legs for him right here and right now, on this table, the floor, his lap or wherever he wanted. “Oh, God,” she whispered, mesmerized. Defenseless and exposed, she wanted to avert her face from his knowing eyes, but was unable to look away. Emily had heard of spontaneous combustion, and in the back of her mind she wondered if this is how it happened. The set of Paul’s jaw firmed but his eyes were bright as he examined her in a triumphant, measured gaze. His calloused hand returned to her leg, slowly skimming over her skin, moving higher up her skirt than before. This time, as he gripped her thigh, he stretched two fingers out – so that the tips of them pressed softly against her drenched panties. Candy’s eyes widened and her whole body stilled, absorbing that wonderful erotic touch. Captured and unable to break away, his gaze held hers. There was no escape. Paul moved his magical fingers back and forth, back and forth with a feather light touch along her damp, cloth covered flesh. Her breath began to hitch in little gasps of desire. With a desperate whimper she arched toward him. A low moan escaped her lips as he pressed the cloth of her panties deep into her wet folds. “You’re a needy little thing, aren’t you?” he observed in a soft, seductive voice. His face remained dispassionate while those clever digits of his continued to tease and probe. “Just my kind of woman. I know what you want,” he murmured with husky confidence. “If you’re a good girl, I’ll give you exactly what you need.” Thankfully the waitress broke the spell when she arrived with Emily’s drink. Paul slowly drew his hand out from under her skirt with unhurried, lazy disregard. The man paid not the slightest attention to the sexy waitress, and because he didn’t, somehow neither could she. It was as if there was no one else. They were in this room alone together. With an open stare, he met her gaze. Then he licked the pad of his fingers with slow and thoughtful deliberation. “Very nice,” he said with a playful wink. OhGodohGodohGod! Her cheeks flushed with heat. Emily’s margarita went down quickly. She’d spent months arranging this meeting. Her current persona, Candy, had a full imaginary background, including siblings, a job, a home and even her own email address. Emily had carefully compartmentalized the two personalities. It was the only way she could pull this off. Yet already, she was off balance, confused and lost. Her senses whirled, her breasts grew heavy and between her legs her swollen flesh throbbed. Who was she? Was she still playing a role? Candy and Emily seemed like the same person right now, both burning from a raging tide of desire. Get it together, Emily. Remember the plan. You can do this, and Paul will never know. Paul, Jai and Emily chatted for a while, flirting and doing the “getting to know you dance” that proceeded a night of hot sex. Emily was no virgin, but she was pretty choosy when it came to getting naked with anyone. She’d always enjoyed the closeness of kissing and cuddling as she suspected most women did. Who didn’t have a natural desire for intimacy? For physical and emotional connection? The problem for Emily had always been that no matter who she slept with, or even when pleasuring herself – if she climaxed it was because she imagined being with Paul. “Do you want me, Candy?” Paul whispered into her ear, his hot breath moving over her skin, causing a delicious tingling sensation along the nape of her neck. “Because I want you. Right now.” Staring at her hands in her lap, Emily nervously swallowed. She couldn’t speak. Instead she nodded, almost shyly. She was out of character, but somehow coming across slutty in answer to such a blindingly obvious question just couldn’t be done. Did she want him? Hell, yes! More than she’d ever wanted anything. Emily opened her mouth, but found that she was still unable to answer. How could she reply to such a question when she’d ached for him forever, body, heart and soul? Paul cupped her chin and tipped up her face, gazing at her in a determined expression. Eyes darkening, they captured hers. Emily wanted to look away from such burning intensity, but she couldn’t. A kick of fear and arousal slammed into her as his power and dominance overwhelmed her senses. She felt exposed and vulnerable to his intense, scrutiny. Could he see right through her? “Tell me, Candy,” Paul demanded in a deceptively quiet voice. “I need to hear the words. Tell me what you want.” “I want you.” Her whispered reply was soft and unsteady. “Good girl,” he murmured with a slight smile, as he released her from his penetrating gaze. “I like a woman who knows what she wants.” He laughed then, a light, joyous sound. “Candy. I can’t even imagine anything sweeter than what I have right here in my lap. Can you, Jai?” Paul said, glancing up at his friend. “Jai and I have just come off a boat. Neither of us have enjoyed the company of a woman for a while.” Emily knew that already; she’d been waiting for him. Paul had signed on as crew for a number of small boats, travelling to incredible places, working odd jobs, and doing so many interesting things. She was jealous because he was footloose, and had no responsibilities. But why was he including Jai in his “company of a woman,” comment? Paul’s breath whispered, once more, seductive and warm over her ear. His arms tightened around her. One big palm lightly grazing the outer edge of her breast in lazy, sensual strokes. Emily shut her eyes, overwhelmed by the incredible sensation of it. “Jai and I could make you climax all night long. Are you up for a threesome?” What? Emily’s mind blanked while she processed what Paul said. It took a fraction of a second before she understood, but then she stiffened and her eyes flew to Jai’s face. She couldn’t have been more stunned if a bucket of ice water had been thrown over her. A threesome? Really? God no! Emily was sexually experienced, but not with that kind of experience. For the love of God, how would that work? Her, Paul and Jai, all having sex together? At the same time? Paul wanted that? Yikes! What else did he want? Jai clearly registered her immediate expression of shock and dismay because he chuckled and said in his formal British accent, “I believe that the young lady in question is only interested in you, Paul.” “Candy,” Paul said. She immediately met his gaze, complying instantly and instinctively to his unspoken command. “Jai and I are good together. We know exactly how to please a woman. You have no idea what you’d be missing out on. If you haven’t had a threesome, now is the time to try it.” He stared at her with open lust. Emily swallowed hard. “I’m sorry. Maybe next time,” she paused and added, “or later tonight?” No way, she thought, but they didn’t need to know that. “What I really want is you.” She gave an intentionally light shrug and forced a laugh. “There’s a long night ahead of us. Who knows how it will end?” “Not as experienced as you look, are you, little Candy?” Paul said with a knowing smile. “Never mind.” He grasped her waist and effortlessly set her on her feet. Then he stood up. The bulge in his jeans was impressive. “Do you have a room, or shall I get one of my own?” Candy grinned. “I have a room.” The emotion behind her joyous smile wasn’t forced or fake. Candy and Emily were the same person now. Both desperate, greedy and more than ready. It was liberating not to have to hide her desire, to show Paul how she felt about him – even if he didn’t know that she was Emily. Shifting restlessly, Emily swallowed. Orgasms didn’t usually come easy for her, not without serious foreplay. But just now she wondered if she’d peak screaming, the moment Paul touched her. She was so primed and hot for him. Paul met his friend’s gaze. “Don’t worry about me,” Jai said, surveying the mass of young women in the Cantina. “I won’t be lonely. Send me a text. I’ll come to you, if I’m not otherwise engaged.” Jai’s accent was sexy. The white flash of his grin was boyishly charming. The combination was devastating. Emily knew that the man would hook-up with ease. Paul pulled her body possessively against his, stroked her hair and trailed his hand down to her lower back. His touch was electrifying. Emily took in a deep steadying breath, trying to keep it together until they were alone. Picking up his duffel, he said, “Ready?” There was no mistaking the gleam in his eyes. He fully intended to bury himself deep inside her. Soon. Raw need clawed at her. She shivered with the just thought of it. “Yes, I’m ready,” Emily said. Another understatement. She’d been waiting her whole life for this. Now, it was all coming together. Sex. Scratching her never-ending itch. Getting fucked by Paul Jarman – hopefully all night long. Her strategy was moving along perfectly, exactly as she planned. What could possibly go wrong?
